Funddeed is where creators share their journey
while helping great causes fund their important works.
So this year, instead of walking or running a 5K for charity, why not create a painting, or a sculpture, or maybe something no one has ever seen?
Sure, you can go walk a 5k, run a marathon, or build houses for charities. And we think that’s great. But if you can’t do those things, or don’t really love to do those things, why not volunteer your way and do your thing for a great cause you care about?
At funddeed, creative projects (from volunteers like you) become fundraisers for charity. Projects come from all over the world, from people of all walks of life. What they have in common is a passion for a cause and a creative way to share that passion.
funddeed projects are about the experience or the journey, more than the destination. We follow the volunteer’s progress through videos, images and blogs, and this engaging content gets shared with audiences and supporters who donate to each projects’ selected non-profit.
Here’s what you do:
1) Choose what you want to create or do, then choose any U.S. non-profit to receive the donations from supporters.
2) Set up your funddeed project (it’s free) and then go do it! Take video and pictures, and add updates to your project as you progress. Remember, you keep whatever you create!
3) Share your progress across social networks to build support and ask for donations to your selected cause. And work with the nonprofit to share content to their audiences.
Donations to your projects go directly to each projects selected 501c3 charity once a month (donors accept platform and payment processing fees ). You can do multiple projects for multiple charities. All donations are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.
Project owners are volunteers and don’t receive any monetary compensation, but share and promote their work to a broader audience, while benefiting their chosen cause in the process.
If you think you have a great idea, sign up and start a project now.
